COVID SAFE event

RULES TO BE OBSERVED AT THE CARNIVAL VENUE

NO PETS allowed at this event

  • Check-in with your phones (Qld Health QR Code displayed at all entry points)
  • Parking at the venue available and there may be a cost involved for parking all day. Check at the entry or elsewhere on the website.
  • Please plan ahead, taking into consideration public transport as an alternative and street parking is also available outside the event venue, near the Council park. When walking to the carnival ground, please use footpath not the driveway.
  • We are working to reduce the environmental impact of the event – we
    encourage you to bring along a ‘Keep Cup’ and refillable water bottle to limit
    the amount of waste going to landfill.
  • BYO -Picnic blankets, 🥤Keep Cup,
  • 💧 water bottle, 👨👩👧👦friends and family!!
  • There will be a number of measures and strategies to keep you safe at the
    event as part of our COVID Safe Event Plan including but not limited to:
  • Contactless Payment options (At certain vendors) 🎫 ATM facilities
  • 🚦 Social Distance with Line Management at Stall counters.
  • ✨ Increased Sanitisation
  • 🚻 High Frequency Monitoring & Cleaning Of Restrooms & Common Areas
  • FIRST AID STATION ONSITE
  • You are required to provide contact details by checking in through your phone of the Qld Health provided QR Code at various locations throughout the venue.
  • Patron numbers will be monitored by our security team
  • ✅ Patrons to maintain 1.5m social distancing, if you can’t maintain the appropriate distance, a mask must be worn.
  • ✅ Covid Marshalls {with Security Uniform) will be ensuring that social distancing is maintained
  • ✅ Sanitiser stations may be  available at selected stations
  • ✅ No food or beverage sampling will be allowed (*Food Comp. exception)
  • ✅ Anyone feeling unwell is urged to stay away from the event. You may be refused entry if you display signs and symptoms.

⭐️Whilst every measure will be taken to provide a COVID safe environment,
patrons are encouraged to ensure they follow the guidelines as directed by QLD health for the health & safety of all patrons.
